Cafe Pammel in Hoxter

I wish the two new confectioners all the best for the year 2021! It is not conclusive to me why the quality and price are sometimes so hacked about here. A pastry shop is not a bakery, it goes without saying that higher prices are paid here and everyone who has already stepped pastry chefs elsewhere knows. At the bakery, I can get a piece of elaborately made cake with cream, fruit and a garnish from the tray for less than € 3.50. That's why I don't understand the grumbling. The very lovable, young couple Weitz / Funk have adopted many old recipes, but also a lot of new ones on offer, which are worth trying! Both of them are in the bakery, in the office and behind the counter 7 days a week. That should also be considered what that means. Only took over everything last year, invested large sums in new acquisitions - and now, as newcomers, you are in the middle of this corona crisis. This is absolutely regrettable and I hope you hold out and will soon be able to open normally again! Keep your fingers crossed! There are always nice gift items to buy in the store, lots of homemade items from Fahrrad merchandise, that makes browsing very interesting and the high level is maintained. The mix is ​​very appealing. Nor can one complain about the daily selection of cakes with many different fresh ingredients. The staff is also very hard-working and nice. Everyone has a bad day sometimes ... Talking helps on site instead of publicly defaming a young company and ensuring that the star rating deliberately drops. Something like that is bad for business. If you don't run a company, you don't even know what that can mean. I can therefore recommend Café Pammel at any time! We have already bought cakes from Herta and Udo Pammel, then enjoyed an additional breakfast at Bergemanns and also appreciated the little things at lunchtime - and will continue to do so at Grit Weitz and Wieland Funk, because we enjoy the variety and high quality in all areas absolutely appreciate it. Cold cappuccino. Service answer ..... that comes from the cream, although the machine is 10 meters as the crow flies. ? He wants to discuss this in the team ???? Exchanging or bringing a new one is out of the question. Strange behavior at such times.

A good coffee to have a good time with friends or family. You will find a wide choice of drinks and cakes to treat you :)

Changes are going on. New, friendlier staff, new design ... every time I was there in the last year (I come from a little further away, there were 3-4 visits) something had happened. The new owners seem to be trying very hard. Whenever I'm in the area I have to browse the store ... I love it. Small but nice. I can never leave without a cup of tea and a piece of cake. At the moment there is a homemade speculoos with tea. So delicious and something different than those pre-packaged goodies that you usually get with coffee and tea. Always a nice trip for me! Highly recommended...

Definitely worth a visit! In summer there is delicious ice cream and in winter you can sit comfortably in the wonderfully furnished interior. Homemade delicacies, from jam, chocolate to tarts and cakes, must definitely be tried or simply taken away!

A great cafe in the heart of Höxter. Coffee specialties, cakes, pies and the breakfast buffet are really great. There is a star deduction for the fact that the cafe on the first floor is only opened at times when the mood takes you and / or on demand and that the pieces of cake have become so small that the "top" breaks off when they are served. There is still room for improvement!

Nice outside area, it's a good place to sit. The menu includes classics such as ice cream and coffee, but also waffles, crepes and cakes. Unfortunately we had to wait a little longer until a waitress spoke to us, we were only looked at when we sat down. We had to speak to the waitress up front ourselves and were served 🙈

We came here on a recommendation. At Café Pammel there is a large selection of tarts, cakes and pastries. It tasted delicious. The matching drinks are of course also very tasty here. The staff was in a great mood and was very friendly. It's a bit expensive, but it's okay for the service and the ambience. We recommend it to others.

Since my daughter and her partner are responsible here, my assessment could be viewed as subjective. I see 2 master confectioners here who work hard every day to deliver quality and to be able to offer customers beautiful and tasty confectionery products, ice cream, coffee and small dishes.

As always' very good !!! Only the toilet area gives cause for complaint. Doesn't match the rest of the level ...

The waitress was very kind and helpful. The buffet may not have been gormet but what I ate of it (I'm vegan, was tasty. It is a pretty place, modern in style. The pastries and gelato all looked marvelous, but I did not have any.

A cute place with a terrible service and average food.
